Killing sin before it kills you

I went to unashamed africa's last concert in Johannesburg, and tedaishii brought up something very relevant to I'm pretty sure all Christians, whether they have been saved for a day or thier lifetime... That every one of us has something sinful about us... Some of us keep it a secret, and others let it out and ask for help. We need to kill our sins before they kill us... Before they devour us from the inside and start to control the way we think. Most people feel guilty after they sin, and it makes them feel worthless, and when they fall into repetitive sin, it gets to a point that a person feels its never going to change. Here's the thing though... We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us... But to do it, we have got to do it His way. He never wanted us to feel guilty for what we have done. Without us just expecting ourselves to fall again, and with the power of God on our side, we can conquer sins a whole lot easier... Swearing, drinking, doing drugs, fornication, adultery, and so much more can be conquered. After repenting, we have to accept FREEDOM. It is by His GRACE that we are saved. Without us accepting freedom, the sin still has a hold on us, and we can never get away. It's like a fish getting off the hook, but not accepting its free and holding onto the line... Accept freedom! It is a gift given to us by God for a reason!
