I am really amazed that these days, everywhere you turn, the media is getting worse. pornography has become something that is not seen as bad. i went to a local DVD store and realized this when there were so many movies on the shelves rated for nudity. with DVDs like that, a person knows what they're getting themselves into... what shocks me these days is that there are movies that re rated 13 and promote sex... on Facebook, people can post any picture without it being properly filtered, and is a huge new social network that has been used by certain individuals to spread pornography. things are getting so bad that even on sights that filter results, certain media gets through which contains pornography. one more thing is that on quite a few websites are now allowing for companies to advertise their businesses on the net, and a huge contributor to these advertisements are advertising online chat rooms and sex... but its not only on the internet. many billboards use images which induce lustful thoughts as an advertisement strategy to keep the advertisement in mind. with media getting worse, and pornography becoming more and more acceptable, how do we as Christians fight back? do we cancel our internet subscriptions and try to avoid highways in order to stay away from the material? do we stand up for what we believe in? if pornography has gotten this bad from the last generation, what will we be leaving behind for our children if we do not do anything?

Thats a very good point.

You aren't the only one to see it... you've just noticed how wrong it is.

Unfortunatlly, this is dangerous because some people see somthing they like and not realise that what they are seeing is pornoghraphic. People can be addicted without even knowing it. And if this becomes a normal thing, what do people call the exreme??

What most people dont realise, is how much it can effect the way you view the opposite sex. It can be very degrading for females to be forced to live up to the worlds expectations. And it makes it harder for women to be seen as equals, because the are seen as slaves...

How do we avoid such things? How do we protect ourselfs from such Media?

How about those who are addicted and dont know it?

well 1 man cutting his internet isnt going to help at all... he just leaves the battlefield... we need to get OUR army ready to face the opposition... God's army has won many times before, so we need to put our faith in him... what we would be fighting is a monster... I hope mny more see this and realize the threats we face if we do nothing... brothers and sisters, we need to fight together... we need a strategy... we can win with Christ on our side
